Chat, generated images, Canvas and voice draw from one weekly credit allowance, reset Monday at 00:00 UTC. Longer requests, higher efforts and images can use it faster. Credits and per-effort message ceilings both apply; the allowance may run out before a message ceiling is reached. Check remaining usage and your local reset time in Settings. No automatic overage charges.
Slate also depends on a shared site-wide free allowance. AI Prediction Analysis has the separate daily limits shown above. Upload limits are per request and per file; extraction and context limits also apply. Paid Prism-2, image and voice features require their providers to be available.

Message figures are ceilings for each effort in each available Prism version, not a promised number of answers. Both versions share the same credit wallet. Auto uses the ceiling of the effort it selects. Cancelling work can still use credits if a provider has already processed it; Continue starts a new request.
Paid plans currently focus on Prism chat and Canvas. Explore public pages such as Weather, Maps, Life Sciences and Government without buying a plan. Each page explains what is available and what is still being developed.
Software will list desktop programs as they are released. Any required plan, sign-in, licence and update support will be stated for that program. There are no published installers yet. 3D introduces a future creation workspace; a 3D editor is not currently included. A subscription does not promise access to every future product or release.

Credits track estimated AI provider usage within your plan. A request reserves enough allowance before it starts; confirmed unused credits return after completion. If the remaining balance cannot cover a request, choose a shorter request or lower effort, or wait for the weekly reset. Credits are not a separate cash balance.
They are OptiLM AI systems built around third-party models, including models from Anthropic and OpenAI, with optional Google support when configured. Optifusion develops the routing, context handling and answer-fusion workflow. Prism is not a separate foundation model trained by Optifusion. Prism-2 combines independent drafts and adds a review step at Advanced efforts; combining answers does not guarantee correctness or superiority over any one model.
Swift, Balanced and Advanced each have a + level. Amber includes Swift, Swift+ and Balanced. Obsidian also includes Balanced+ and Advanced. Diamond includes all six, including Advanced+. All paid plans can switch between Prism-1 and Prism-2. Auto in Prism-2 selects an eligible effort and model configuration within your plan and remaining allowance.
You can manage cancellation from Account. Your billing portal shows when cancellation takes effect and when paid access ends.
Slate includes Prism-1 Swift with 35 weekly credits and a ceiling of 35 messages, subject to available free capacity. It supports saved chats, exact-text history search and supported uploads. Community pages and manual predictions remain available. Prism-2, Canvas, generated images and voice require a paid plan.
Supported uploads include text and code, common images, readable PDF text, modern Office/OpenDocument text and bounded ZIP text extraction. Not every file or embedded visual can be read. Scanned or password-protected PDFs, unsupported formats and oversized documents may need a text or image export. Uploaded attachments are not a permanent file archive.
Canvas supports short push-to-talk recordings for transcription and optional spoken replies, using your shared weekly credits. It is not an always-on live voice call. Canvas also supports diagrams, charts, notes, generated images and SVG export.
Requests are sent to the providers needed to produce the answer. Saved conversations are associated with your account and can be deleted. Our Privacy Policy describes the processors, storage and retention details.
