Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe. Every payment is processed securely and encrypted by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

What happens when I hit my daily message limit?

Your limit resets every 24 hours. Limits are tracked per model, so you can switch to another available model if that model still has messages left.

How are daily limits set?

Limits are tuned to keep OptiLM sustainable and ad-free. Each model also has plan-safe input and output caps, so prices stay low without risking negative-margin usage.

What is extended thinking?

Adaptive thinking lets stronger models spend more reasoning effort on complex problems when it helps. Higher tiers unlock more of that capability for coding, analysis, research, and multi-step work.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll continue to have access to your plan until the end of your current billing period.

What can I do on the free plan?

Free (Slate) users get full access to Debate Arena, Predictions, Leaderboards, and the community. AI-powered features like Chat and Prediction Analysis require a paid plan starting at $7/month.

What's the difference between the AI models?

Swift uses Haiku 4.5 for fast tasks. Balanced uses Sonnet 4.6 for everyday reasoning. Advanced uses Opus 4.8 for harder work. The strongest slot is Fable 5, but while Fable 5 is unavailable, OptiLM shows "Fable 5 unavailable, using Opus 4.8."
